IDEAS Kicks Off in Karachi for its 12th Edition by International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS 2024)

Karachi: The 12th edition of International Defence Exhibition and Seminar, commonly known as IDEAS 2024, has begun at Karachi Expo Centre.
The inaugural ceremony was led by Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif.
Inaugurated on Tuesday… IDEAS will extend till November 22, featuring over 350 high-level delegations from 55 countries at the mega regional event organized biennially.
Since its inception
in year 2000, it has become a significant international platform for defense industry professionals to foster collaboration and share knowledge. IDEAS is an extraordinary opportunity where global players connect, discuss opportunities for trade visits & future business plans within the defence sector.
The Minister highlighted that Pakistan offers immense investment potentials in various sectors including defence industries with events like this serving as a regional gateway to explore new ventures. He emphasized on technologies playing an essential role for security challenges and their responsible use can make world safer & better place.
IDEAS 2024 has exceeded previous records in space, bookings, exhibitors – domestic plus international from countries like Turkey, China, Iran, UK, North America, South America, Europe, Asia including Far East. With a remarkable 560 defense equipment exhibitors presenting their products to potential clients and business partners.*
