PESHAWAR: District Emergency Officer Rescue 1122 Abbottabad, Muhammad Arif Khattak chaired a weekly meeting with the Control Room In-charge at D/O Rescue Headquarters where he reviewed the department’s performance and directed to establish emergency points in Galyat during snowfall season.
While briefing on past activities of different rescue stations, District Emergency Officer Arif Khattak decided all rescues across district remain alert for prompt action against any mishap due to extreme weather conditions like heavy rainfall and strong winds which are also likely soon as a part of monsoon.
Faheem Jalal presented the weekly activities, operations conducted during previous winter season in Abbottabad including rescue from snowfall-induced accidents along with reports on casualties caused due to similar mishap and measures adopted for emergency management wherein Arif Khattak directed that all Rescue Stations throughout district remain highly alerted & promptly responds against any unforeseen disaster.
