Mayor Murtaza Wahab Addresses Delays with the Sindh Government
Just a day after Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaja Wahab called the delay in completion of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project, an embarrassment for all parties involved.
The transport authorities admitted challenges and assured no further delays would be tolerated. Sharjeel Inam Memon presided over a meeting with directives to meet deadlines despite ongoing obstacles in the massive 26-kilometre public transit system. International consultants provided recommendations for progress, emphasizing that BRT Red Line is essential and any delay cannot be afforded.
