Commissioner Karachi’s Visit Highlights Efforts for Civic Improvement
Commissioner Karachi Syed Hassan Naqvi embarked upon a comprehensive review of civic issues within Malir and Korangi districts. Accompanied by Deputy Commissioners from each district, along with senior officers responsible for urban development, the commissioner sought to ascertain progress towards tackling prevalent concerns.
Upon arriving in Karachi, Naqvi’s first visit was a detailed examination of water supply and sanitation projects within Jafar Tayyar Society. The ongoing project here has faced delays spanning several years:

Furthermore, during his visits across Malir and Korangi:

He also took notice of encroachments affecting traffic flow in Malir. The commissioner urged local administrations to prevent further intrusions on roads and footpaths, thereby guaranteeing unimpeded transit throughout these areas.
