Karachi Weather Forecast: Cold Temperatures Expected for the Next 24 Hours

Karachi is expected to witness warmer days ahead as temperatures set to rise slightly from Monday or Tuesday with mercury likely to go up to 26°C to 28°C during the day and dropping to a minimum of 11°C to 13°C, according to weather analysts.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that Karachi will have cold and dry conditions in the next few hours as temperatures are set to rise slightly from Monday or Tuesday with mercury likely going up to 26°C to 28°C during the day, dropping down to a minimum of 11°C to 13°C.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that Karachi recorded a minimum temperature of 9.8°C today with temperatures expected to rise slightly tomorrow as humidity is currently at 41%, and winds from the northeast are blowing at 11 km/h.
On Januener 21, PMD issued a drought alert, warning of worsening conditions due to below-average rainfall and increasing temperatures. From September 1, 2024, to January 15, 2025, Pakistan experienced 40% less rainfall than normal with the worst affected provinces being Sindh (with a deficit of 52%), Balochistan (45%) and Punjab (42%).
Rain-fed regions are particularly impacted, including areas like Attock in Punjab, Chakwal, Rawalpindi  [Bahawalnagar, Faisalabad, Ghotki, and others]  in Sindh with districts like Jacobabad in Balochistan.
Islamabad is also experiencing mild drought conditions as per the PMD report on January 21, while Gwadar city had a similar situation reported last week of all-time low rainfall during winter months according to reports circulated by some news channels and social media influencers in Sindh.
