The Islamabad Karachi Company Police Teams’ Extensive Crackdown Against Criminal Elements

The Islamabad Police Karachi Company teams have carried out an extensive crackdown against criminal elements in the Federal capital over the past 10 months to maintain peace and security.

  • A public relations officer on Sunday said that during this period, the Islamabad Karachi Company police teams arrested a total of 630 accused involved in various criminal activities.
  • Recovered cash and valuables worth over 41 million rupees from their possession.
  • Arresting 74 drug dealers as part of the “Nasha Ab Nahi” campaign, with seized items including:
    • Four kilograms of hashish
    • Two point five kilograms of heroin
    • Five hundred grams of ice
  • Conducted operations against accused possessing illegal arms leading to:
    • Arrest of 54 individuals
    • Recovery of 43 pistols, one kalashnikov, one rifle, 212 rounds of ammunition, and eight daggers.
  • Additionally, 168 absconders were arrested in the last 10 months.

DIG Islamabad has emphasized that all available resources are being utilized by the Islamabad Police to eliminate drug dealers and criminal elements from the federal capital. It is urged for citizens to report any suspicious activities or individuals, specifically related to drug peddling, to their respective police stations or through the emergency helpline “Pukar-15”.
