Exam Result Controversy Leads to Inquiry Committee Formation by Chairman Shah
The decision was made during a meeting with the Secretary of the Universities and Boards Department.
It is clear that students’ concerns need to be addressed. The inquiry committee, which will operate impartially encouraging submissions from concerned parties within one month time frame for transparency in addressing complaints.
- Previously Chairman Ameer Qadri was removed due to unauthorized foreign trip controversies and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murat Ali Shah’s approval – Sharf Ali has been temporarily assigned additional responsibilities as the interim chairman of Karachi Intermediate Education Board.
- Formation of inquiry committee is set up by Chairman Shah to ensure that students’ concerns are resolved and he made it clear during a meeting with Secretary, Universities & Boards Department – “Students are future”. Every effort will be taken for addressing their grievances in the best possible way.
- Students from pre-engineering and medical groups faced failure which led them to submit scrutiny forms at Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK).
