Law and Order Meeting Chaired in Karachi Ahead of New Year’s Eve
- Additional IGP Karachi Javed Alam Odho chaired a meeting to discuss law and order, aerial firing prevention, and traffic management ahead of the New Year celebrations. The gathering focused on intensifying patrolling efforts within respective areas for safety purposes. Emphasis was laid upon monitoring suspicious activities with immediate action against violators.
“Those involved in aerial firing will face attempted murder charges, and their weapon licenses will be revoked immediately,” Javed Alam Odho stated.
A special traffic plan has been formulated to ensure smooth flow during the festivities. Additional personnel will manage key roads, intersections, and event venues for minimal disruption in celebrations.
