The AIGP assured that roads including MA Jinnah Road, Kamran Chowrangi in Gulistan-i-Jauhar, among others would be cleared before Maghrib time. The police chief indicated a firm stance against resistance to their actions for maintaining law and order as per the instructions given by authorities.

Amidst talks on Sunday night, Odho shared that he along with Karachi commissioner held discussions aimed at ending sit-ins after receiving an agreement from protest leaders to discontinue their demonstrations. Post talks, several sit-ins including one on Sharea Faisal near Star Gate were brought to an end today according to Odho’s press conference at Garden police headquarters. However, the MWM spokesp0erson indicated that protests would continue until their demands are met and clarified they will block only a single track of roads for traffic flow while maintaining another as open pathway.

Muhammed Ahmed Ludhianvi declared that sit-ins would continue across various locations including the main Sharea Faisal near Malir and at other parts of Karachi if their demands are not met.
