The Chief Minister highlighted that integrating with NADRA and Excise & Taxation Department will enable swift action during emergencies. “Real-time access to vital information such as individual identities and vehicle registration details, enabling immediate targeted response,” he emphasized.
The ERVs are equipped with AI systems for facial recognition & license plate recognition capabilities discussed in briefing by DG Sindh Safe City Authority. “These features allow swift identification of suspects and vehicles involved.”
Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah emphasized the timeline urgency for ERV deployment across Karachi with a phased rollout plan, first five immediately to be operational within next two months. “He underscored importance of meeting this timeline as crucial for boosting security capabilities.”
