Pakistan-Bangladesh Trade through Direct Shipping Route by NLC & DP World Strengthens Regional Connectivity in South Asia. Since its launching in October of this year, over a thousand containers have been shipped between the two countries; fortifying trade relations and enhancing regional connectivity is now within sight for Pakistan and Bangladesh.
“The collaboration began with more than 1,000 container shipments since October. This initiative will significantly improve economic growth in both nations,” said a DP World spokesperson at the launch ceremony
- Start of Container Service between Karachi and Jable Ali on Jan. 13th with first NLC vessel (1,100 TEUs) capacity; second similar vessel to be inducted by end of January.

– The inaugural run of container service between Karachi and Jable Ali commences on Jan. 13th with NLC vessel (capacity: 1,100 TEUs). A second similar capacity vessel is scheduled for induction by the end of January.
The collaborative effort promises to diversify trade scope further in February.
