Sindh Minister for Local Governments Directs Expediting Work on K-IV Project for Water Supply Improvement in Karachi and Citizen Hardships Relief
Saeed Ghani, The Sindh Minister for Local Governments, issued an urgent directive to expedite the work on K-IV project aiming at resolving water shortage issues plaguing our beloved city of Karachi as well assuaging hardships faced by its citizens.
While chairing a meeting under Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP), he emphasized the importance on swift completion for immediate benefits to be experienced by us all, particularly in terms of augmented water supply due to an addition of 260 million gallons per day.
Additional Chief Secretary LG Sindh Syed Khalid Haider Shah and others were present during this significant meeting which discussed the needful details about our current project along with other matters, all aiming at a better tomorrow for Karachi in terms of water supply from Keenjhar Lake.
Furthermore, Saeed Ghani said that we should make every effort to complete the K-4 Project which is going to provide great importance by further improving our already strained but still commendable water supply system for Karachi’s citizens at its earliest possible completion time frame under Govt. of Punjab, Sindh.
