The Public Account Committee of the Sindh Assembly Directs Emergent Steps for Dangerous Buildings Evacuation to Avoid Loss of Human Life

The PAC meeting was presided over by chairman Nisar Ahmed Khuhro.

“To sum up, it’s essential that steps are taken immediately,” the committee emphasized during their directive session in Karachi yesterday (Tuesday). The Sindh government has been asked to evacuate more than 570 buildings considered dangerous by authorities across various regions of Pakistan’s biggest city.

  • Evacuation is required for over 570 dilapidated residential structures identified as hazards in Karachi, Hyderabad and other cities.
