Truck crushes car, killed 2 in Karachi

Pakistan Point News – (19th Dec, 2024) A speeding truck collided with a car near Manghopir Town in wee hours of Thursday. Two people lost their lives on the spot and one sustained injuries due to this tragic incident that unfolded when two vehicles crashed at around four o’clock am, as per rescue officials from Khyber Agency Police Headquarters (KAPH).

According to private news channels, rescuers rushed on the scene with their ambulances and other emergency services. They provided medical assistance for those who were seriously wounded in the crash while investigating what led this accidental collision into place, reported Islamilabd News.

“The impact of a head-on collision was so severe that two people lost their lives on spot,” said an informed source to Pakistan Point New as it became apparent during investigation by police authorities under Inspector General Police and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in Islamabad’s 10th district.

“The injured person is still being treated at the hospital while two unidentified women were killed, but their identities have not been disclosed,” informed Pakistan Point News as it awaited details from authorities on this heartbreaking incident involving a family of five where one child was found dead near Manghopir village (Khyber Agency) and another who suffered injuries while the other two siblings are still unaccounted for.

This crash highlights risks faced by drivers navigating through congested traffic on roads shared with heavy vehicle transportation services as reported in Islamabad Point News. “The impact of a head-on collision was so severe that two people lost their lives,” said Inspector General Police Khyber Agency.

A witness to the accident, who also suffered injuries himself told Pakistan First Class Newspapers how he saw speeding truck driven by one Ahmed Ali while driving on NW Bazaar Road in Manghopir town at around 4 am and collided with a car when they failed to notice each other. He was rushed immediately after the crash that shook locals from all over Khyber Agency, who have been left shocked by this tragic event which occurred just two days before Christmas celebrations in Manghopir town where many families are still grieving and praying for a miracle to bring back their loved ones lost during these devastating road accidents.
