Completion and Restoration of Main Water Line on University Road by KWSC
Residents have been waiting for over two weeks to get the water supply restored following three consecutive leakages. Developed in the main line crossing the alignment of BRT Red Line project, causing inconvenience. With completion of repairs today and expected restoration of service tomorrow as per Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWSC).
Residents shared their grievances about lacking tap water for two weeks. Mentioned by KWSC spokesps in a conversation, “Most city areas have been without the basic amenity due to above mentioned issues.” Culmination of repairs on Thursday was significant as it would bring relief and reinstate normalcy.
